What's On At The Hub 28/06/2024

Hello Everyone,

Today, the 28th of June marked the 7th Birthday of Chapters, our wonderful creative writing group. Chapters started with Libby, Lacey and Lynette in our library at the Hub. From a small group of writers Chapters has now grown to one of our biggest member -led groups, and have also published two anotholgies. They meet at The Hub to write, share and critique every Friday. We are so amazed by everyone of our Chapters members and so happy that we are able to be a part of their ever growing journey.

Also, look who came to visit us this morning at the Village Hub! Diane, our Book Club leader and her friend Loris came in with matching oodies with their two dogs Sadie and Allegra.

Hotham Valley Steam Train Bus Trip

Join us on an exciting Out N About trip to explore Dwellingup, Isandra Siding, and The Darling Range on a two-hour Steam Ranger journey. Learn about the history of the Dwellingup line and its transformation into the Hotham Valley Tourist Railway, offering access to Western Australia's picturesque places and living history.

Itinerary:

  • Dwellingup where we will enjoy our traditional morning tea.

  •  Step aboard the Steam Ranger where you will enjoy a 2-hour adventure as we travel westward down to Isandra Siding, 14 Kilometers away where you will have a 30-minute stop over.

  • During this time the locomotive will move to the opposite end of the train. You will be thrilled by the magnificent sound of a steam locomotive hard at work climbing the West Australia’s steepest and most spectacular section of railway, through the darling range escarpment.

  • BYO Lunch and then time for a stop for fresh strawberries along the way

We need numbers and payments 6 weeks before the trip so please book below:
