Hello everyone,
Autumn is here, and then winter is when we will start using heaters and having higher electricity bills. To avoid this join our Energy Ahead workshop to learn about reducing electricity consumption in the home and gaining knowledge about power bills.

Top Tips for Managing and Adding Apps

Wednesday, April 2, 11.15-12.15 pm

If you would like to know more about some of the millions of additional apps available on your smartphone, join us this Wednesday to hear about the different varieties and how to install and use them. Additional apps offer entertainment, convenience, and utility which can help you in your everyday activities.

Connect 60+

Fridays 9.00am-11am

The next cycle of Connect 60+ started on Friday, March 21st. This week we explored emotional wellness and the idea of feeling safe. We had an enjoyable and informative self-defence workshop by Noah Greenstone from the Combat Arts Institute of Australia. The institute regularly offers Seniors Self Defence Workshops. Pick up a flyer at the front desk if you would like more information.


We encourage you to book for the up coming sessions. Next up we have Dr. Elissa Burton from Curtin university talking about how cognition and physical activity are interlinked, in addition to some line dancing! The program with dates and activities is now available at the front office.

Out N' About - Wellington Dam

Monday 7th April 8am -5pm


Don't miss out on this opportunity to see the worlds biggest Dam Mural!


Join us as we leave the city via Forrest Highway for an exciting day of adventure. First stop Gnomesville where you can add a Gnome to the collection if you want to. Then on to Collie for lunch at the Federal Hotel which has many yummy options for lunch including garlic prawns and chicken satay sticks. We will then visit Wellington Dam to see magnificent mural and finally to Harvey Cheese for tastings and ice cream.
