Connect 60+

Friday 9.00am-11am

The Connect 60 + program got off to a great start this week with 30 people attending the first session which focused on Emotional Wellness. A general introduction and discussion was followed by a talk on Self Reflection by psychologist Paula Nicolou. Members worked in groups to discuss some of the ideas and and also met some new people in the process. Members were active in giving feedback and sharing their experiences with the larger group.

Next week we will be starting with 30 minutes of resistance exercises with Hannes followed by a session on navigating AI (Artificial intelligence) with Alex Jenkins. So please come and join us for an informative and interactive experience which addresses the domain of Intellectual wellness.

Each week, our program explores one of ICAA’s seven dimensions of wellness—physical, emotional, spiritual, intellectual, social, environmental, and vocational— through practical, interactive, and informative sessions.

Our schedule for the first cycle is as follows:

Jan 24th - Self Reflection - Dr Paula Nicolou from Older Adult Pyschology
