We’ve carefully selected three distinct trips, each with its own highlights and attractions. Here’s a closer look at what each adventure offers:

1. York's Timeless Treasures

   Step back in time with us to charming York, beginning with a scenic countryside drive and a delightful morning tea before immersing yourself in Western Australia’s history. Stroll York’s beautifully preserved streets, explore quaint shops, historic landmarks, and perhaps visit the famous sock factory. A locally guided tour of the Historic Town Hall

   (subject to availability) adds further insight. Lunch is served at the magnificent 1886 Imperial Homestead, a restored Gold Rush-era gem in the heart of the Wheatbelt. Before heading home, indulge in the finest ice creams and olive oils at the York Olive Farm, rounding out a day rich in history, flavour, and small-town charm.

2. Tree Tops and Timber Towns

   Join us for a tranquil journey into the forested Darling Scarp and the timber town of Dwellingup. We’ll start with our traditional Club morning tea in Pinjarra, pausing by the Murray River to relax and enjoy a bite. The adventure continues at the Dwellingup Forest Discovery Centre, where you can explore engaging displays, stroll the famous

   11-metre tree-top walk, and browse local arts and crafts. No matter the season, the forest is spectacular! A hearty classic pub lunch at the historic Dwellingup Hotel anchors the day. Before heading home, enjoy time to wander the town’s shops or visitor centre, with a possible bonus stop at Vergone’s Fruit Stall for fresh local produce.

3. The Artisan’s Forge:

   Begin your gentle day with a traditional Club 55 morning tea, enjoyed with serene Swan River views. The highlight is a visit to Antonio Battistessa’s renowned studio, where the internationally celebrated master blacksmith demonstrates his extraordinary craft. Starting at just 15, Antonio now creates stunning hand-forged works in iron, steel, and copper, often paired with rare woods and ornate glass. This is a rare chance to witness artistry and skill up close. For lunch, we head to Pasta in the Valley for a restorative Italian-style meal in a welcoming setting.

   
   

   The day ends sweetly at the Margaret River Chocolate Company, sampling treats and selecting local delicacies to take home.
