Hello Everyone,

Hope you are surviving the heat and remembering to drink lots of water, put on sunscreen and wear a hat. Despite the heat, class attendance remains high so Well Done everyone! Remember it is always cool in the Village Hub!

On Thursday, members enjoyed meeting Mayor Karen Vernon who discussed current issues in Victoria Park. Everyone had the opportunity to ask questions and raised their concerns about a few issues including keeping our town clean, under ground power, lack of retail shops and the proposed race track. She also encouraged people to vote at the next council elections in October.

Please note that the office will be closed next Thursday 6th of February and Friday 7th of February. Staff will attend a two day Team Building workshop which supports their aim of providing a continuous quality service. All Scheduled classes for these dates will run as normal including Connect 60+. If you need to purchase class passes or make any other payment, please do this by Wednesday or the following week.
