What's On At The Hub 30/06/25

Hello everyone,

As many of you know, today was Pat’s last day with us as our Housing Officer.

Over her time with us, Pat has supported so many of our tenants and members with kindness, patience, and genuine care. She’s been more than just a Housing Officer, her calm presence, spiritual nature, and uplifting energy have left a lasting mark on our community.

Fittingly, Pat also led today’s Connect 60+ session on spirituality with some guided meditation- a beautiful and gentle way to say goodbye (or rather, see you later).

Pat has been such an important part of our team. Whether she was helping someone with housing, offering a listening ear, or simply sharing a quiet moment, she always brought heart, warmth, and a deep sense of integrity to everything she did.

Thank you, Pat, for everything. We wish you all the very best in your next chapter. You’ll always be a part of the Connect Vic Park family.

Chapter 8th Birthday!

This week we also celebrated the 8th birthday of our much-loved creative writing group, Chapters. What an incredible achievement! Over the years, Chapters has grown into a supportive and inspiring space for self-expression, storytelling, and connection. It has brought together a wonderful group of people who share a love of words, creativity, and community. Congratulations to everyone who has been part of the journey and here’s to many more years of writing and laughter!
