We hope everyone has had a great week. Please note that Line Dancing for Beginners and Intermediate is cancelled for next week on Tuesday, November 4.
Our Nordic Pole Walking Group will also be taking a break on Tuesday, November 4. These sessions will continue as normal from next week Tuesday 11/11
Wednesday Wellbeing
Wednesdays, 9.00am - 11.00am
Commencing 5 November
Starting next week, Wednesday November 5, we are delivering a brand new programme in conjunction with Bassendean 55 plus.

Wednesday Wellbeing explores the International Council on Active Ageing’s Seven Dimensions of wellness, as well as what it takes to be an Age Friendly Community. Each week we will have a talk and an activity that focuses on one or more of the dimensions of Wellness ( that include physical, emotional, Social, Intellectual, Vocational, Spiritual and Environmental ) and the elements that make up an age friendly community. Workshops include falls prevention, nordic pole walking, managing emotions, tai chi in the park and so much more.
This programme comes at no cost to participants as it is fully funded. If you know anyone living NOR who would be interested, please let them know. You can RSVP below:
Melbourne Cup Lunch - Hats in the Hub!

For everyone attending Melbourne Cup lunch, make sure you wear your best Melbourne cup outfit as we will be giving our a small prize for best dressed! We are looking forward to seeing you sartorial choices. Hats and bright colours always welcome!
