Hi Everyone,
This week, we bid a heartfelt farewell to Alida as she embarks on a new chapter closer to her family in Joondalup. Alida has been an integral part of our Village Hub community and a cherished resident of Connect Vic Park for more than 15 years. Her presence has enriched various aspects of our community life, from her active participation in the Mackie Street Singers and Hub Book Club to her engagement in countless other events and activities over the years.
We will miss her dearly and wish her the best of luck at her new home!

Older Adults Outdoor Adventure Guided Walks
With the beautiful weather we've got coming up in Perth, it's time to head outdoors! Our Older Adults Outdoor Activities (OAOA) guided walks kicks off next month with a series of captivating guided walks. OAOA is a peer-coordinated program offering 10 weeks of guided nature appreciation walks, scheduled every three weeks.

Over the course of 10 weeks, you'll have the opportunity to join us for a series of guided nature appreciation walks, curated to showcase the stunning natural beauty that surrounds us. These walks aren't just about exercise; they're about soaking in the sights, sounds, and serenity of the outdoors while enjoying the company of friends.
Our first adventure takes us to Herdsman Lake on Thursday, May 2nd, beginning at 9:30 am. Following each walk, there will be a opportunity to catch up over coffee. Additionally, if transportation to and from the destinations is required, arrangements can be made for lifts.
Join us for these invigorating outdoor excursions! OAOA is free for tenants and only $30 for members for the entire course. The walks are suitable for people with walking aids. This is a great way of getting out and exploring the wonderful nature that our surrounds offer. Have a look at the schedule below:
