Hi Everyone,
Thank you for another amazing week at The Hub - without you, our members and volunteers, we would not be the vibrant community that we are.
As Christina wraps up her last week before taking a break, we want to give her and our awesome kitchen volunteers a big shoutout! They've been consistently amazing, making our community lunches a blast for members and staff. Our St. Patrick's Day lunch was especially epic – there was singing, drumming on tables, delicious food and lots of green outfits!
Footy Fitness Stall with the West Coast Eagles
Next week on Thursday, March 21st, our Footy Fitness crew, Vicki and members of the West Coast Eagles will be attending Park Centre. We will have a stall to market our amazing footy fitness programme and grow the community as well as the Village Hub. We will be there from 9am - 1pm., and we would love the footy fitness crew to attend this event to make the community bigger and talk to people who might be interested in the programme.
If you know anyone who might be interested in Footy Fitness, please let them know that we'll be there along with the WCE mascot and staff to answer any questions. Or just come say hello and support this awesome crew!
Strength and Mobility Class cancelled for Next Week
Unfortunately there will be no strength and mobility class next week. We apologise for the inconvinience.
New in The Hub - Member Led Art Class!
Friday afternoons at 12:45pm - 2.00pm, we have a new member-led art group down in the hall. This group is led by our member John Baldock, an artist and art teacher who provides courses on creativity.
Whether you are a beginner or have already dabbled in the arts before, this class is all about expressing and exploring your personal creative style. Next week, the class will focus on still life drawing - so please bring an object that you want to draw, some pencil and paper. Come along for this amazing new group!

Neighbour Day Movie Matinee
Dont't forget that Neighbour Day is on Sunday 24 March and The Hub will be hosting a FREE movIe matinee! Bring along your friends, family, and of course, your neighbours to the Village Hub for a wonderful afternoon to celebrate belonging in your community and the connections we make with the people around us.
The Movie Matinee will feature the heartwarming film 'A Man Called Otto', starring Tom Hanks. This film beautifully illustrates the joy and importance of having caring neighbors who uplift and support one another through life's ups and downs.
Furthermore, if you would like to get involved, we would love volunteers to help us - whether you're lending a hand with setup, assisting with refreshments, or simply spreading the word, every contribution makes a difference in creating a vibrant and inclusive neighbourhood.
