Mackie Street Singers
are Back!
We’re excited to share the news that after a little break, our much-loved community choir Mackie Street Singers are back on Tuesday nights! We Meet at Connect Victoria Park at 6:15 pm for a 6:30 start. The new prices are - members $7 and non-members $10.
Even more exciting, we’re welcoming a brand-new choir master – Rachel Martella. Rachel is a classically trained singer and the Director of the Churchlands Choir Society. With her incredible voice, expertise, and passion for music, she will be an amazing addition to the Hub.
The Mackie Street Singers are all about fun, connection, and the power of music. Come along to give it a try!
The Monday performance club will continue - so now you have two options for singing at the Hub.
Be Confident - What Does It Mean To Be Healthy
Join physiotherapist Robert Moore as he explores the root meanings of what Health means, and how re-establishing the ACTUAL meaning helps us to understand what we can do to live a healthy life. This is a free Be Confident session on 29th October, 11.15am at the Library.
Golden Lens Photography Competition Now Open
Golden Lens Seniors Photography Competition is now open, and we’d love to see you participate! Organised by WA Seniors Card, The Golden Lens aims to celebrate the lives, stories, and creativity of older Western Australians through photography.

We’d love to encourage our members to take part in this year’s Golden Lens Seniors Photography Competition. It’s a chance to celebrate your creativity, capture meaningful moments, and share the stories and perspectives of older Western Australians. It could also be a fun way of getting a group together to stroll and see what interesting things you can take photos of!
The competition is now open, with prizes on offer across several categories. Entries are simple — just upload your photo with a short description via the Seniors Card website.
