Hello everyone,
We hope you're keeping well! There's lots happening at the Village Hub this month—from activities and events to volunteer opportunities. Whether you're joining a group, popping in for a cuppa, or just saying hello, we’d love to see you around.
A quick reminder: Please put your cups and glasses into the dishwasher after use. It helps keep the Hub tidy and welcoming for everyone. Thanks so much – we really appreciate it!
Nordic Pole Walking Group

Enjoy the Sunshine with Our Nordic Pole Walking Group! As the weather gets sunnier, it’s the perfect time to get outside and explore the neighbourhood with our Nordic Pole Walking group. The group meets every Tuesday at 9:00 AM, departing from Connect.
We have a few walking poles available in the office, but if you have your own, we encourage you to bring them along.
This is a member-led group, so there won’t be an instructor, but our group leaders have been trained by Hannes and are happy to help you get started.
Come walk with us and enjoy some fresh air and great company!
Craft + Knitting Group
Delys and Faye absolutely love knitting—and they’d love to share that with you!
Join us on Wednesdays at 9:30 AM at the Village Hub for a morning of knitting, conversation, and a cuppa. Whether you're a complete beginner or it's been years since you last picked up the needles, this is a friendly and welcoming space to learn or brush up your skills.
This week, we’re working on simple squares or cosy fingerless gloves—perfect beginner projects.
It's free, fun, and open to all. Just bring yourself (and some wool or needles if you have them- but don’t worry if not, we’ve got extras to get you started).
