Hello Everyone,
Thank you to everyone who came down and supported us at our Active Ageing Expo. It was a great open day and as we look forward to Active Ageing Week from 30 September - 4 October. We hope you can join us at the Village Hub to explore all we have to offer you.

Some important updates:
Our Bus trip to Hotham Valley is this Wednesday, October 2. If you are going on the trip please note that the bus leaves the Hub at 8.00 am so please aim to be here before.
Unfortunately, our Zumba with DJ classes will not be running anymore. However we still have Diana with Zumba on Mondays so you can still get your Zumba fix at the Hub.
Kaatijiin Film Screening - The Grey Line
As part of the Town of Victoria Park's Kaatijiin Screenings, Connect Victoria Park will be hosting a film screening for "The Grey Line" on October 12, 5.30 pm. The Noongar word for knowledge, 'Kaatijiin' aims to give attendees an intimate and thought-provoking look into two very different tales of the Country and the people in it.
Pepperberry and Pumpkin soup with Wattleseed and Lemon Myrtle Damper from Kuditj Kitchen will be served prior to the film screening and is included in the ticket price.
There will be a Q and A session following the film.
Any funds raised from this event will be donated to Healing Foundation a national Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisation that partners with communities to address the ongoing trauma caused by actions like the forced removal of children from their families

Next week's Community Lunch on Tuesday, October 1 will be Meat Pie with Mash Potatoes, Peas and Carrots followed by Rice Pudding.
