Explore the Options for Your Next Bus Trip

We’ve carefully selected three distinct trips, each with its own highlights and attractions. Here’s a closer look at what each adventure offers:

  1. Gin, Grub & Grapes - Historic Mahogany Inn

Start your day with a refreshing morning tea at Bells Rapids, a peaceful riverside spot surrounded by fresh country air. Then, travel to the historic Mahogany Inn, a venue rich in local history and folklore. The inn is famous for the window through which the bushranger Moondyne Joe made his daring escape.

At the inn, enjoy a guided tasting of award-winning gin and vodka, followed by a delicious lunch in a warm, welcoming setting. After lunch, relax on a scenic drive through rolling hills and picturesque landscapes. The day finishes with a wine tasting at Jadran Wines, a perfect way to toast a memorable outing filled with tastings, history, and stunning views.

  1. The Gingin Goat Trail.

Escape the city and enjoy a laid-back day exploring the charming backroads of the Gingin Shire. Begin with morning tea at Wally Jones Park, then visit The Local Goat, a family-run farm where you can meet friendly goats and their playful kids. Sample homemade goat’s cheese and gelato, and browse unique local products like honey and goat milk soap.

After the farm visit, enjoy a hearty lunch at the historic Gingin Hotel. This trip offers a wonderful mix of nature, animals, local food, and good company, making it a perfect day for animal lovers and food enthusiasts alike.

  1. Stirling Cottage Past and Present

Our journey starts with a scenic drive through Jarrahdale to Serpentine Dam, where you’ll enjoy a relaxed Club 55 morning tea surrounded forest and water views. We then continue through the picturesque towns of Pinjarra and Waroona to Harvey for lunch at the charming Stirling Cottage Kitchen.

Afterward, explore Stirling Cottage, a beautifully reconstructed 1850s homestead linked to Western Australia’s first Governor, Sir James Stirling, and later home to beloved author May Gibbs. Set within heritage gardens featuring a fountain, orchard, and secret garden, it offers plenty to discover. The day concludes in Mandurah, with time to enjoy the evolving waterfront, relaxed foreshore atmosphere, and perhaps an ice cream before heading home.
