About the event
Departing from the Village Hub at 8.00am we travel by coach to Dwellingup for morning tea. Our journey continues with a 2 hour Steam Train excursion traveling 14kms down to Isandra. Travel along an amazing portion of steeply graded and tightly curved railway manually carved into the Darling Range, which once so masterfully served the timber industry and the agricultural areas of Dwellingup and beyond.
You will be thrilled by the magnificent sound of a steam locomotive hard at work climbing the West Australia’s steepest and most spectacular section of railway, through the darling range escarpment.After this you will have free time to purchase lunch or BYO lunch before slowly making our way home with a stop for fresh strawberries along the way.
